Pair of Mid-Century plywood lounge chairs, model No. 24-23, designed by František Jirák for Tatra Nábytok in Czechoslovakia, 1960s.

These lounge chairs feature a very elegant design, which followed the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the Brussels Expo 58. The chairs feature bent plywood armrests and a structure in beech veneer, with all the wood being of course after restoration. The chairs have also been newly reupholstered in premium fabric and fitted with new springs.

They are a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature, and surely are a wonderful addition to any modern living space.
